Arclinea presents 'Lignum et Lapis' at Milan 2009
12.05.2009
On occasion of the last edition of the Milan furniture fair 2009, Arclinea presented its new 'Lignum et Lapis' kitchen at the recently renovated 'Centro Cucine Arclinea Interni' in Corso Monforte, together with other product novelties.
In its latest collection, Arclinea uses natural materials as the perfect partners to achieve a truly balanced and harmonious project while giving the kitchen an added value.
These qualities were already made relevant at Eurocucina 2008 with the exclusive use of larch and stone together with the actual project design and creativity portrayed in Lignum et Lapis, designed by architect Antonio Citterio.
The beauty of natural wood is highlighted by a new solid door, designed in staves of varying widths and set at different distances. Thanks to industrialization, the sequence emphasises the design effect, guaranteeing concrete serial production.
Formal research and technological know-how have produced real industrial sculptures, physical monolithic blocks in stone combined with Eulithe (for lightness) and aluminium (for mechanical resistance) together with supporting elements (side and end panels) that act as a base.
Arclinea is 'creative technology', invisible technology that gives non-invasive help to the creation of innovative solutions that are extraordinary in their research yet simple in their application and use. |
